Just got back from what certainly was a successful conference. Peter and his wife Anne kindly put me up and it was good to see them. In my role as MC I would say the conference itself was a good one. Peter, Hans, and I ran it as an open session: we gathered questions and then explored those questions. Not only as to how to implement and show the worth of BtM but also about the nature and structure of BtM itself.

What became obvious is that more and more consultants are looking for ways to create ways to drive results and develop people at the same time; the day focused on this theme. Empowerment is a complex theme: too little and people don’t care, too much and the strategic goals can suffer. Peter Hunter and Breaking the Mould is about people becoming self-aware rather than told that their role and job matters - and acting accordingly.

Those who came to the conference provided a very interesting framework and real contribution.

It was interesting to be back in the UK which is something I do not do often; if Sweden seems expensive, then London really is! It was only my second time in 5 years, and I honestly feel that Sweden is my home. Business Intelegant had made new friends at the BtM conference, and the quest for better global work continues.
